Checkers

Checkers is a board game for two opponents. The game consists of moving pieces diagonally across the black (or white in some variants) squares of a 64 or 100 square board. If someone does not kill (capture), he will lose that piece by playing contrary to the mandatory intention to capture (eat) the opposing player's pieces, by stepping over said pieces.

Checkers is a game of logic. As players develop skills in the game, they must learn how to solve problems in order to win. Players must be able to predict the opponent's next move and must be able to pick out possible moves during every stage of play.
